Who we are
SAP TLS (saptls.com) is an independent resource for SAP TLS certificate management, and a reseller of SSL/TLS certificates via TheSSLStore’s partner programme. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SAP SE – see our full disclaimer for more on this.
The guides
The how-to guides on this site are provided for general informational purposes, based on our own research and testing. SAP systems vary by release, patch level, and configuration, so exact steps and screens may differ in your environment – always check against SAP’s own documentation and support notes for your specific system before making changes, particularly in production. We provide this content “as is” and don’t warrant that it will be error-free or suitable for every landscape.
Buying a certificate
- Certificates are issued by third-party certificate authorities, through our reseller relationship with TheSSLStore. When you buy a certificate, you’re also agreeing to the issuing certificate authority’s own Subscriber Agreement, which governs the certificate itself.
- You’re responsible for the accuracy of the domain, organisation, and CSR details you submit. We can’t issue a certificate correctly if this information is wrong, and delays caused by incorrect information aren’t something we can control.
- You’re responsible for keeping your private key secure. We never ask for it and never see it as part of the certificate issuance process.
- Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change without notice; the price you pay is the price shown at the time you complete your order.

Acceptable use
Don’t use the site to attempt to obtain a certificate fraudulently, for a domain you don’t control or aren’t authorised to request a certificate for, or in any way that breaks the law or the issuing certificate authority’s policies.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SAP TLS isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this site, the guides, or a certificate purchased through us – including downtime, data loss, or business interruption resulting from following a guide or from a certificate authority’s own issuance or validation process, which is outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can’t legally be limited or excluded under UK law.
Intellectual property
The content of this site (guides, text, and design) is owned by SAP TLS unless otherwise stated. Third-party trademarks referenced on this site – including SAP, and certificate authority brand names such as Comodo, Sectigo, DigiCert, GeoTrust, RapidSSL, and Thawte – belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
